oh yeah. so i got pulled over by a DEA officer on the way back from houston tuesday afternoon. the guy was going the opposite direction on the interstate, u-turns across the median, follows me for about a mile, then pulls me over. for what? no front license plate. yeah right. i'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that i drive an expensive fast car and look like a thug. had to do the routine: get out of the car, get the questions "you carrying any weapons or drugs? ever been arrested? etc." asks if he can take a look in the car, all that shit. i let him look. a) nothing to hide, b) less hassle for me to deal with. i figure he's gonna get all twitchy if i tell him he can't check out the car. eventually he gets back to the lack of front license plate, at which point i point out that there's no bracket on the front thanks to the enormous air dam. he tells me to figure something out, then lets me off the hook and i'm on my way.
yet another reason to hate houston.
yet another reason to hate houston.
jab:
the highway between houston and nacogdoches (hwy in general, it goes all over the place) is supposedly the most highly drug trafficked road in the country. i can appreciate it's contribution to weed distribution, but that town has no place in this state. it sounds dumb to insult a city, but i've never had a great time on any visit there. that pretty much makes houston like the dick doctor or an oil change place.
