Last night I went for dinner with B, H, and A, to this place I'd read about. I'd come across an ad stating that they were looking for a sous chef about a week ago, and about the same time, I had the place mentioned to me by a couple of friends. I looked it up, read over the menu and the history of the place, asked a couple food industry people about it, and organized the trip there for dinner.

It was great. The atmosphere was great (music selection needs some work, but it's in West Hollywood, which explains some of that), food was almost flawless, wine list was breath-taking, service was good .... we loved it, all around.

So this morning I sent in my resume.

Hell, if it doesn't work out, I still had a great meal.
