So I'm walking down Franklin in Hollywood, passing this sort of empty, weed-overgrown fenced-off lot when I spy a record player that's been abandoned to the elements. Now, normally, I'd have passed on by, as I have a perfectly good record player of my own, thank you very much, and this one is probably not in working condition or it wouldn't have been abandoned to the denizens of the streets of Hollywood, but I then notice that there is a record on the turntable.
So I picked the whole thing up and took it home with me.
Now, obviously, the sleeve wasn't included, but I managed to track the record down online .....

well, from what i have researched, hold off on food and water for about three hours before departure. if she's calm enough at rest stops, i can take her out of her carrier and let her try to do her thing...i suspect she'll be too freaked out at first to want to do anything. i'm going to buy her some "kitty calm" herbs too so she can be mellow. i'm also propping her carrier up so she can see out the window...with a seatbelt on, of course. i've already started getting Nina used to hanging around the carrier. i won't be able to travel for longer than about 8 hours at a time, but i don't really mind. i have plenty of time to get there and i want to take lots of photos on the way.
very soon, we'll be having a pint!
i tried to buy a 1/4 barrel of Bitburger for my party on tuesday, but looks like I'll have to do Goose Island 312. it's "chicagoey". i couldn't deal with Old Style. I'm making red and white sangria, guacamole, veggie empanadas, and grilling veggie burgers and turkey sausage. i haven't had a party in ages! i'm so excited!
i think we should hit Neptune's Net ASAP. I'll drive!
