Still alive.
Laptop died, was sent off to Apple repair, and returned resurrected with 13 days left on my 3-year warranty.
Been dating a girl for a few weeks or something. Not sure if she counts as a "girlfriend." Not all that excited about her, but not really sure why. She's pretty and fun and cool and interesting, but Something is just missing. Then we got in a bit of a tiff a couple of nights ago, haven't even talked since then.
Was happy with work again, but the last week or so have become increasingly dissatisfied again. Definitely time to start looking around more seriously for other opportunities, although a bunch of people are quitting over the next couple of weeks so things could change.
Am being inundated with Texas people -- a good friend from college who lives in New Braunfels is in town for a few days. My nephew is in town for a couple days. Another old friend, who visited here a year ago, is back as of this Saturday for 10 days. This inundation is a good thing.
Big Josh is coming out in October for a few weeks; he's going to tattoo my chest while he's here. We're going to do a big Sailor Jerry ship on my sternum with banners underneath that say "Wardour Street" and "Soho." This is going to hurt profusely.
Is it just me, or do people not comment on journals on this site as much as they used to?

i think the new format has something to do with it,also i think the site itself has sort of become gentrified....hasnt got that underground community vibe anymore,its more conglomerate(some would say that happened ages ago)...but yeah there was a definate down swing with the new format
