So Tuesday night was fantastic
Went to her place, as she lives in Beverly Hills, and we were eating in Beverly Hills. Walked up the street to the hotel from Pretty Woman for a drink in the bar (her idea), so she had a glass of wine and I had some single-malt Bushmills (16-year ... my fav, like it better than the 21, actually), before walking on to the hotel where we were having dinner. We were a bit early but they seated us immediately anyway, right by the pool, and brought us a couple glasses of champagne.
We didn't order off the menu; instead, we were sent out 7 courses, with more champagne and then some wine along with.
We took a tour of the kitchen (I hadn't seen it since before they gutted and remodelled it), then sat at the bar for some more drinks.
I won't mention how obscenely low the total bill for the night was, given what we consumed. Let's just say that you all know my great luck in getting free things and this was one of the most ridiculous examples of that I've ever had, if not the most ridiculous.
So that was fun.
Then it was into work the next day, appropriately hung over for Ash Wednesday, and they had me working another new station on the line, which was fun, as we were pretty busy, so I had to learn the pickups right away. So I'm now working all 4 different stations at work, depending on who's working on a given night, instead of being stuck on just one. This makes the job much more entertaining, which is always good.
And I'm off to London on Monday!

Have fun in London. I can't wait to travel again. I know my next trip will be to LA in May, hopefully. Our director/producer broke his foot/ankle so that might push the filming back some. But I still hope we are going to have drinks!
