on a whim tonight i rolled over to the abbey pub to see rocket from the tombs.
wow.
it was a little hit or miss, but more hit than miss. and when it was on, it was ON
i thought the place was going to come apart during "final solution"
opening band, cobra verde, was also pretty good.
i witnessed some great rock n roll tonight.
show was over at 11.15 so i went to the bowling alley and had a couple drinks while talking to the lone star champion bartendress there and watching "enter the dragon," had to wind down after that rock n roll show, and that was a good way to do it.
ps -- go spurs!

Yeah, it's hard to sweep, so I figure NJ will win one, probably in NJ, but I can't see them stopping Duncan. It's too bad he doesn't get the credit he deserves. I mean, granted, he's got a couple MVP's and he'll be winning another championship, but most people have never heard of him.
oh yeah, rocket from the tombs??? man i'd be pissed if i liked rocket from the crypt......
