I wasn't going to stay out long
I was just going to have a couple of beers and go home
After all, it was a Friday night, and I don't really like being out on weekends (amateurs abound).
But the cute barmaid was working, so I stayed a little longer.
Next thing I knew, I was locked in drinking for free with the employees until 3.30, listening to a grizzled old Vet rattle off stories about Cambodian hookers in 'Nam, while everyone else kept trying to change the topic of conversation.
I got the feeling that they'd all heard the stories before.
But I hadn't.

I'm jumping off of the SG boat--which means you'll have to start throwing these up on MySpace or something. I've always dug your journals, yo--I'll leave you with the best advice I ever got off of a bathroom wall:
"Fuck it up!"
