between the hours of 8.30am and 1.30 pm, those cats got all my shit packed and ready to move to chicago. tomorrow the movers come to load it all on a truck and haul it up north.

i didn't get to sleep until 4, and i slept like shit anyway, waking up every few minutes and what not. no fun. bed early tonight? maybe.

my davul came in today from austria. eckermann, the guy that built it, threw in some austrian chocolates in the envelope with the invoice. i ate them, and they were tasty. they had some kind of creamy caramelish stuff in the middle.

today, did some packing in anticipation of moving in a few days. mostly this consisted of dismantling all my stereo equipment and separating out all my ex-wife's stuff that she hasn't moved out of the house yet so that the movers know not to take it. tomorrow, more packing.

she ripped down my curtains again. i am a fuckhead and hit the snooze button for 2 hours, knowing that i have a ton of stuff to do before i go to work and pretend like i am not going to a job interview.

talked to the pops. if i get the gig, he is coming up here, and buying me a little volkswagen. i am so stoked. the doggone job is mine....mine mine.....

got the new outburn magazine yesterday, issue #20. has AFI on the cover. they did an article on my indie label (accidental sirens) and even put in a picture of my business partner and i. stoked. magazine has a circulation of about 20,000, so it should be pretty decent publicity for us.

i used to bowl in a 5-pin league when i was 9 or 10.. every once in a while i could curve the ball in between the pins without hitting any.
had a cool shirt too...in fact it might still be in my closet. made from some material that would surely rage into flames at any hint of heat.

props to ermey for cracking open a christmas-gift bottle of 12-year jamesons and passing that bitch around the limo. props to the barley house for no cover charge for the limo crew and a cheap tab. props to the rest of the mad limo crew for a fun night. good way to start out the year if you ask me.
