Well, had a laid back Thanksgiving. Went to my uncles, where my aunt and mom made dinner. Chilled and talked with my uncle, dad, two cousins and aunts dad most of the day. I love sweet potatoes, especially with brown sugar and marshmellows. (Why do I only eat that one time a year?)

Went to Tahoe this weekend... damn it was cold, but I'm glad it wasnt snowing (I love the snow, just don't like driving in it). One of my buddies turned 30... lots of drinking, lots of gambling (and I won big too), football on Sunday (and the Raiders actually won)... you almost couldnt ask for anything more. Well it looks like another fun two weekends squeezed between work coming up. Hitting my first Raider game of the year, bummed you're not going Sweatpeas, but I totally understand (must crush Denver) and next weekend is Bridgeschool ... ah Ben Harper and the Chilli Peppers on the same ticket. YaY Haven't seen a good act with the Peppers since Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

Wow... Went to go see Ryan Adams at the Warfield. I don't know his music at all, but a friend had some extra tickets.

Drove to LA to see Ben Harper & Dave Matthews at Dominguez Hills.

While I thought Bens set was absolutely great, it seemed to lack the audience enthusiasm and energy of a Berkely Greek performance. Still well worth the 10 hours roundtrip transit though, I love the new southern bluesy stuff.
