i was so happy when i got mine back....but they did something to the airport card and it wouldn't fir in properly, not mention it was in wrong when i got it back. so i had to take it RIGHT back to them and have them fix it. just be thankful you got a laptop instead of the 80 pound emac. yeah.

hmmm...as far as i'm concerned, anything in the avenues can't be that bad. i could be wrong, but.....to be honest...wait...you said 19th? i think that's decent. and you'd be near geary, which is great for the 38 to get you downtown, plus the geary has a limited. (whoo hoo for limiteds. if you live there, the limited will become your best friend, i promise) i've never lived anywhere except the tl and down by the wharf, so i can't really say what it's like to live where those two places are. sorry. good luck! and have an awesome, safe road trip. i'd kill to go on a roadtrip right now...

it depends...you said grad school, right? the academy has classes all over the city, not just at the new montgomery central building. i have a friend who just finished his grad work at the academy and i remember him saying that he didn't go to the dt campus. so i guess it really depends on where your classes will be at. also..well, i'm not too sure about oak and buchannan. i can't remember if it's a good neighborhood or not. umm...sometimes rent is cheaper for a reason. regardless, if you're taking classes dt, the sutter place is very easy to get to & from. so would the oak place, just longer because it's farther out there. with both places you're near major bus lines, which is a good thing. if i get a chance ,i'll head out to oak and check it out.
