There's a head of a wrench and a wall outlet in that shoot; no matter where you could have shot from, the head of that wrench and the outlet would have been completely out of view behind the arm of the couch. Later, both are visible. I have a pretty good spot check, Bob. Maybe the couch didn't move, but something had to in order to make those two things visible.
One thing I'm certain of, though: it is a KILLER set.

I always just thought the last name thing had more to do with what they are. I mean, how many other hyper-intelligent mice do you know? Then again, there are others. The mice from NIHM, Algernon, the ones in the Redwall series, the ones in The Tale of Desperaux; I've never read it, but I'm pretty sure there are mice in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy ...
Maybe there is something to "Mouse" as a surname.
