I am changing my name to Scottie McMullet!

Okay, so it's 4:30 a.m. and I'm not going to the gym today but I am up. While I love Spring, the non-sleep effect it has on me sucks...

Yeah, I know about John John Jesse. Fuse Gallery just did a show of his work along with an article in Juxtapoz! Did you want to hit Levine's Gallery for the Ray Ceaser show? Let me know...

Same goes for the open call this week (april 2) -- I'm gonna go.

i have determined that i really like living alone.

i mean, i knew that, but having the BF gone for the last 3 days has been BLISS on my psyche. doing whatever i want, whenever i want, eating vegan chocolate at 2 in the morning, watching dumb bruce campbell movies, leaving my shit all over the place and not picking up after myself...not feeling like...

um..."dumb" Bruce Campbell movies? Aw, now you just shot down the one icon I believed in...

Got in 7.5 miles today and realized that all of the overeating / drinking I've been doing caught up with me. Yeesh -- time to be more sensible.

I know what you're saying about having your own place. It's been many, many years since I've had anyone live with me and frankly I'm not sure how I'll adjust if that time does come.

Happy Easter!

so i wanna ask:

what's sexy?

lacy lingerie? boxer shorts? stockings? nudity? collar bones? tattoos? (well, we're all here so tattoos might be a given.) eyebrow piercings? corsets? fine wines?

A&E is airing a special on "unmentionables", and i'm just wondering...i know it's different for everyone, and i would love to know what people think is sexy.

all the things you listed could be sexy as well as:

-when girls pin their hair up with a pencil
-making out in the morning after staying up all night
-hip bones
-a sense of humor
-interest

After working at that certain men's nudie magazine I told you about, I started to enjoy things that most people won't see.

The back -- very sexy, especially when it move.

Someone you lock eyes with on the street...and get a smile.

A "just right" smell / scent.

Those sounds that people make when they're with others who are as turned on as you are.

Someone with something to say!

got up at 8 am and worked at the soup kitchen at St. Thomas church (53rd and 5th). we made soup and sandwiches, then brown bagged them with Easter candy and cookies. then seven groups hit the midtown area to distribute the lunches out of shopping baskets. i got 8th ave (along with 3 teenage girls from New Haven. ew. teenage girls.)

we were out...

date: day whatever of my time off
topic: domesticated punk

today's schedule ran as such:

9 am - got up, mostly because the BFs alarm kept going off.
9:30 - made coffee and banana/blueberry/pineapple juice (yummy)
10:30 - rambled up to c-town, the "natural" food store and the fruit stand
11:30 - started up banana bread
12:15 - took banana bread out of oven, cooled...

*..ahem...*
"i wish you'd give me a slice of your nanner bread too. i bet its really moist...and...delicious. Id love to try it..sometime soon."

anyway on a completely unrelated note i am excited by the propect of our joint dinner at some point. im gonna experiment with some sauces when im back home. im thinking about a pumpkin sage sauce to go with some homemade gnocchi?

I wouldnt say discomfort exactly.
let's just say its an image that has fired my imagination more often than i would ever care to admit.

[ed. note. This post is easily the most pregnant with double meanings of any sentences constructed in the history of mankind. In many ways there definitely is a "subtext" going on here.]

also, i would love to fill your basket for easter.

I go to the same stores as you. There is NOTHING natural in the natural food store. Sadly, C-Town at times has a better natural selection than they do.

bad news is that the boyfriend laid on me again this weekend that he really is moving on out o' nyc come september.

and our lease is up may 1.

soooo...shit. i dunno what i'm going to do. i just quit my important, high-paying, moderately secure, corporate america job 2 months ago, and i'm starting up my freelance biz again.

a) amazing to see you again. you remain truly irresistable in the sense that when I hang out with you i always seem to miss at least 1 bus, which is fine by me (there are other senses in which you do as well, but those aint for the public eye)

B) I hope our discussion of your journal topic helped? at the very least, as always i wish the situation well, while silently nursing a smug grin and my own agenda...but come on! is my agenda REALLY so bad?

no, no its not.

so as many of you know, i used to reside in lovely minnesota...land of the loons.

my dad (not from minnesota, only been there once, just passing thru), send this to me...good humor! of course, it's probably only really funny if you know all about the midwest, and minnesota's goofy luthran/church basement culture...but it's still humorous, even if all you know about that glorious state...
