These are from an art project called Topless in New York. (well, that is what I was told anyway. I couldn't find any more info about it.)

Edit: I found out the project was called Uncovered by Jordan Matter. I guess New York made it legal for women to be topless in public in 1992 so he decided to photograph women exercising their right.

i was going to ask about that, cause i thought it was legal in ny for women to do that but i wasn't sure if they had ever retracted that law. From the looks of it I would say that they didn't.
