I fly to Dallas tonight. Once I'm there, I'll have been in my fifth timezone in one week. That's even a stretch by my standards. If anyone is interested in how to avoid jet lag in that sort of situation, I'd be happy to school you.

I also have three kinds of money in my wallet, which is getting to ba a pain in the ass. While in San Fran last week, I ran out of cash and asked a bartender if she accepted GBP. She laughed and said no, but even my "but just think of how strong the pound is against the dollar right now" argument wouldn't sway her. Can't say that I blame her, I just wanted to say "dude, I got a bartender to accept foreign currency last night." It really would be a good deal though, as I offered to pay GBP20 for a tab of USD20. Almost an 80% bonus.

I'm about to hit 1000 comments. Member since Nov 2002 and just hitting 1000 comments now. I'm not this quiet in real life. It's shocking to me. Maybe you think I'm just very careful about what I say. Maybe you think I'm just lazy. I won't confirm or deny either possibility. I like being mysterious.
