numbers

I got blind drunk this weekend. I didn't black out or anything, just blind. I was hanging out with a friend who happens to be friends with a famous emo musician. I ended up becoming part of the entorage by default, and to counter this humiliation, I pounded vodka (which usually leads to its own brand of humiliation, though strangely not in this case.) I don't know what time I pulled the 'chute, but it was probably around 1am. I just stood up, declared that I had gone blind, and walked out. Then I took a cab to an apartment building I don't live in anymore, got an egg sandwhich at the deli downstairs and had to walk the 8 blocks. Very interesting evening.
