Today, I rolled in the Evo while listening to The Crystal Method's Legion of Boom. The sunroof was open, and I was wearing cop-style sunglasses. I ate chili dogs at Matt's, and then I just rolled. Later, I applied for a job with a charity outfit reading grant proposals for technology-in-the-classroom requests.

I've still never been to Matt's. I should make it a point to do so, after all it is my namesake.

That's a fine, fine way to solve a problem. Here's to...

Come to one of the markets I work in. I'll give you the " I haven't seen you in forever" deal.
Tomorrow I can be found in Issaquah if you're interested in some good Rainiers.

Oh, thanks for ruining the joke.

Listening to Refused, eating the first cherries of the season, and playing on the internet. What a pleasant evening. I need to work on some angst, or I shall become ever so boring.

Woe, woe is unto the null.

First of the season? Somebody gave you some bad info, man. CHerries have been at the farmer's markets for about a month now.

The day started out with my declaration that I was a country boy in my deepest heart. Later, I walked past a department store mannequin wearing a Burberry polo shirt, Lucky jeans, and Ecco shoes identical to what I was wearing. Then, I bought a sillily expensive Mont Blanc pen. I found some irony in that all when I had time to reflect.

Here's the...

I guess if you don't have enough issues to worry about, you'll invent some.

So true.

Then "She Sells Sanctuary" comes on iTunes, and you forget being all philosophical.

More true.

The boredom dissipated. Now, I'm happy with my privileged little yuppie life again.

Current idle line of inquiry is a motorcycle. Given my bizarre love of speed, it's probably right up there with licking public toilets on the list of hot ideas. I'm told given my already intimidating stature, that a helmet and padded leather jacket make me look like an evil Transformer, which I...

I think you're like Hannibal Lecter. You're capable of driving any licensed professional insane.

I was rejected by the MBA program today. I've never been rejected by a college, so I'm a little unsure how to take this.

Chris got to you, didn't he?

Of late, I seem to be telling stories like an old man. I start to say something, and then try to pin a year on it. When I finally get a year pinned down, I end up saying something like, "That couldn't have been three years ago." Then I stare off into space and consider if it really was three years ago. Eventually, I shrug...

Woke up at about nine and made my way leisurely to work by half past ten. I listened to Houses of the Holy on my way in and fell madly back in love with Zeppelin.

At work, I finished a project that I'd been working on for a few months. That was a good feeling.

Then I found out that it was one of my...

I woke up early to get ready for the MBA interviews. I got dressed in my new blue Burberry polo shirt and khakis and some okay shoes. My stomach wasn't feeling good, so I eschewed the granola and yogurt I normally have for breakfast. My slight nausea wasn't from nerves, because I'm never nervous when it's game time--only in the in-between time leading up to...
