The past few days have been shit, utter shit.

It started like everything else in my life does: at work. I made a slight change to something that didn't affect anything but what I was doing. The resident ultra-nerd took offense and issued off a set of the most condescending and unprofessional emails I've ever seen. I replied with what I felt was a temperate...

Haha. Yea, those oranges earn your trust, then stab you in the back.

1) Thank you. I knew there had to be something.
2) As far as I'm concerned Krispy Kreme is nothing, period.
3)Oh come on! It's a cultural mecca! If meth and cousin fucking a mecca makes.

Cajun-style fried chicken, homemade macaroni and cheese, and green salad for dinner. Some lemonade in the glass. Strawberries and devonshire cream for dessert. A clean apartment and a sunny late afternoon. Quiet down tempo on the MP3 stream. Scarface to watch later. A pile of novels in the nightstand.

You can't tell me life can't be pleasant.

Dinner at my favorite Japanese restaurant, Sin City at one of the neatest theaters in the world with friends, and seeing a giant, fat drunk get tasered by police.

It was a good day.

True, the interview would suck, but the job itself would be like a real life version of macbastard's, " I want a retarded kid" thread; with the added bonus of a monthly salary.
mistersatan:
Probably.

The anatomy of a bad day:

- I hit a metal file on the freeway and had a tire blow out a 70 miles an hour
- Which made me late for the emergency meeting called because one of our clients is mad at us
- Which had caused me to run out without my lunch, any breakfast, or a shower
- A coworker tried...

that really, really does suck. I can't remember if Ive already left you a note about this but thought I would again, or for the first time if I haven't already. Maybe someday soon you'll have a really good day to make up for it?

tis what I said!

I had the most bizarre run of bad luck today. Throughout it all, I never got upset.
luminaire:
Good man.

Last night, I ended my depression and ennui by simply asking, "What the hell is wrong with you, you big drama queen?" I love being me.

they drive ferraris and go to macdonalds? weirdness. I think ferrari's are ugly. Mini cooper, thats the way to go! Do you have those over there?

I change my mind about my neighbourhood - it's great really even if it is full of murderers and such. They dont murder people, they murder people's rabbits anyway
luminaire:
Yeah, The Hand That Feeds is good, but it's nowhere near the best song on the album.

A quiet, rainy Saturday night. I'm cold and the tea isn't warming me up. It'd be a perfect time for navel-gazing, but I don't do that. Instead, I think I'll listen to the rain, look out the window, and listen to Interpol. I don't think I'll sleep tonight. Call it a hunch.
luminaire:
Try a different kind of tea. Black tea never seems to warm me up anymore, but green tea works wonders.

The apartment is empty and spartan again. I've been moving nonstop for six hours trying not to think about it, but I'm out of chores.

Time to lie in bed and stare at the ceiling.

Thanks. I'm trying.

Yeah, I cleaned house a few minutes ago. I can believe how much crap had accumulated with all this overtime. Hadn't had time to clean until now.

Another year older today. I'm still okay in the Logan's Run (movie version) of things, but a few more years and I'll have to think about running.

What has this year been like? Most any other year.

I had a brief flowering of friendship, but that seems to have petered out for now. I hope that others are better for having known me, and that...

M wears the hell out of his Guccis. I'm not a huge fan of their stuff for women, though. I also find myself gazing lustily upon the Pradas. I almost bought some killer Givenchys the other day.

But for the sneaks, I stick to the Old Standbys, since I beat the shit out of those fuckers.

Since I became an exercise junkie, I've been living in Adidas.
