I had dinner at my favorite Japanese restaurant, drove my little black Japanese car around, and found myself bored to tears by a Japanese splatter film. I'm not sure whether being bored by a splatter film is worse than my apparent fixation on things from Japan lately.

It is pretty sad to be bored by a movie whose entire premise and plot involves school children committing suicide in increasingly gory ways.
