Things continue to proceed apace. I'm saving money and have lost enough weight that I properly fit a 2(x)ist tee again. I scored the highest review in the company this year--and that's after lowering some of my scores so that my manager would catch less shit for giving a review that high. I bought a 1GB iPod shuffle this weekend and a pair of New Balance sneakers, which mark the first two things I've really purchased for myself this year.
Today, I ran errands and washed the car. Then I read V for Vendetta before making myself a wonderful dinner of four-cheese tortelloni and tomato, vodka, and cream sauce. Then I watched some movies.
Tomorrow, I head to the gym first. Then I put the last touches on my current project and begin pondering my next project: expanding our already amazing SMS anti-spam platform. After that, I'll take off early and finish updating my personal security stance by getting updated IDs and bank cards.
Beyond that, my birthday is soon. I hear a local super-restaurant has a seasonal menu featuring Kobe beef that week. Perhaps, I'll splurge a bit. I'm hoping that I'll be done editing my novel by then, so I can spend a little time shopping it.
It's a rough life.
The only thing really missing is my people. For all of you on my friends list, those no longer there, and those never there, I miss you. I hope wherever you are, things are going well. I also hope our paths will cross again. The first round is on me next time.
