In the past week, I've left several hundred dollars in cash, a checkbook with a signed blank check, and a thousand dollar refund check lying on my desk at work while I wandered off to do something else. I worry about my attention span some days.
Also, I love the sublime segues of iTunes. Sequences like New Order's "Perfect Kiss" followed by Jimmie's Chicken Shack's "High" followed by "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" from the Grey Album make me smile every time.
Oh, and I find myself largely in charge of the technical destiny of a highly-funded company with dozens of employees again. Hopefully, this time will work out better.
