Woke up at about nine and made my way leisurely to work by half past ten. I listened to Houses of the Holy on my way in and fell madly back in love with Zeppelin.

At work, I finished a project that I'd been working on for a few months. That was a good feeling.

Then I found out that it was one of my coworkers' birthday. He always ordered foofy drinks when we go out, so I went around yelling, "Pink fruity drinks for everyone!" Of course over lunch, he and I had some pink fruity drinks--they called it a Margajito. I called it a crime against both man and beast.

After lunch, I filled out my time card and went to see Cars. I loved the movie a lot. If you've read my journals much, you'll know that cars and movies are two of my favorite things, so this couldn't miss.

One the way out of the building, I saw a kid wearing red board shorts, a tan blazer, a white dress shirt, a Cardinals cap, and loafers. I thanked the lord for this wonderful day when I saw that.

Afterward, I got a good prime rib dinner at one of my favorite places and picked up a vanilla bean cheesecake at Pasta & Co. I'm eating that now and watching a little Alias.

Yet once again, it's been a good day. Farmer's market and JPod tomorrow.
