My family went through some pretty rough times. It's been up and down a lot. But we always had vacations... I guess it wasn't Disneyland every time though. I think I just have parents who are willing to waste money and go into debt if it means having a really good quality time with family and friends. If we're going to do something, we do it right. Which can be both good and bad I suppose.

It's too bad about vacations though, they're kind of fun. Before my mom started working, when my dad was still full-time at a reasonably sized church, we'd get a month straight of vacation every summer, and we would go on these huge road trips. It was really awesome. I miss them.
