I worked 10 straight hours. To many this isn't a lot. But for me as a server that's huge. Because that doesn't include any real breaks. Only grabbing a bite to eat when you can and sitting when you have a moment. I was only suppose to work five but they needed a hostess. So I did it, because I was told I would get a free meal(I'm a huge sucker for free food),,,,also I have two days off in a row. Oh and it's always good to be on the general manager's good side. It was so hot working today. Because even though it's nice enough inside the restaurant there was food to run to the patio. I hope I made myself tired enough to sleep because it's pretty toasty in my room.
I'm pretty excited for my birthday this year. It will be grand. It's on one of the longest days of the year, and I will be a quarter of a century. It's nice to be in Edmonton for my birthday with all my friends. And it will be the first party to which I will be hostess. Last year was only spent with my boyfriend of the time who isn't even worth talking about. Not that he was terrible just that it was dreadfully boring. :
The Dandy Wharhols show at the Edmonton Event Cennter wasn't all that great. Maybe I wasn't just into it, could have been the venue, or the crowd. But I deffinitly think they are better on CD.
