Monday started a very hard week for me. I was getting my rifle about to head out to the field to do some training with my unit when one of my Marines called me and told be some of the worst news I have heard in a long time. One of my best friends had been found dead.
My unit is letting me take leave so I can goto the funeral friday. I feel horrible right now and I dont know how I will be after the funeral. Brandon is getting full military honors and a lot of the guys we deployed twice with will be there. It sucks this is why we are all getting together but Im glad everyone is showing up for his family.
