What's so wrong with cliches? I mean, I know they're a bit redundant but still.... They're there for a reason right?
My sisters boyfriend just broke up with her and she keeps calling me in tears over it. I know all I should really be doing is listening to her (which I do). But I'm trying to explain that she's still young and that it's not the end of the world... no matter how much it may seem like it at the moment. In other words, I've been using quite a few cliche phrases while trying to make things better...
The guy was a douche anyway and she's better off without him. The relationship was doomed from the beginning. How do I help her get over it? Do I just let it work itself out?
