I swear I live the weirdest life known to man...
I know odd shit happens in the world everyday and people see it, lots of people. However, I am starting to think I catch more then my fair share of lunacy in any given day.
Just today I saw a freakshow p[layed out right in front of my eyes.
I live near a gas station. The mini-mart of said gas station is staffed ENTIRLY by white trash women. They basicly sit around, smoke, gossip and bring property value down all day. The spectrum is complete, the older single mother, the teen mother, the pregnant smoker, the list goes on, every female W/T sterotype is represented. It makes buying a snack or soda amusing, but today took the cake.
Today one of the older womens daughter (who looked to be 13-15 years old) came in for smokes, which I witnessed her mother buty for her. (Newports I might add
) Upon leaving the store a cop stoped and carded her. I decided to stay and watch the show.
Of course the young W/T girl argues with the cop, who looks to be getting pissed at whatever she is saying (inside the store, could not hear) Anyway, he comes inside and asks who sold her the smokes, motther responds that no one sold them to her. Now this got the cop really pissed... He wanted to know how that was possible when he WATCHED her walk out of the store with a fresh pack of smokes.
The mother of the year behind the counter then went on to explain that she bought them for the girl and she was her mother and she didn;t care if her daughter smoked so why should the cop. Of course the situation degraded and I paid for my gatorade and got the fuck out of there.
But seriously, WTF is wrong with people today?
But now I have a question for people.... Why smoke? I will never understand it. I am pretty sure every man woman and child in america knows it is bad, so why do people still do it?
