I found it once.
I know I did.
Everything went into it.
It was the first thing that I truly believed in after so long of believing in nothing.
It ran away like a lost puppy who didn't know everything would have been amazing if it had just stayed.

I'm not sure you can blame a puppy.
The world is so big and they have no idea how small they are.

I just want to find it again.
I want it to stay and never leave.
I will hold on to it.
I want it to hold on just as tight.

that's why it's best to let puppies come to you. too many people pick the puppy they think is the most gorgeous but never take anything else into account. but when you sit there and let one nuzz on you and stare at you so deeply and intensely, that's when you know it's ok to take that one home. there can and will always be other puppies. but not all are meant to stay. some need a bigger world than just 4 walls and a back yard.

you cant keep a puppy in a cage all day and expect it not to bolt when you let it out.

i dont think you put enough missing posters up before you gave up looking and bought a new puppy.
