Once more I speak to you through the haze of drunkenness and the parched embrace of a hangover. Yesterday was full of promise. Yesterday I could have done anything! But fate had other plans and sent forth its most trusted minions who took the form of my friends. They, now hidden in a clock of friendship, poisoned me. I let the strangely coloured liquids trickle down my throat into my gullet and laughed. My parents careful up bringing had shielded me from such deceit and so I knew not the danger I was in. slowly the poisons took their hold on me and sounds became stretched and tinny, colours bled from the edges and the faces of people twisted and crawled as if insects lived just below their epidermis. I was now in the realm of the drunk. Time felt like just another direction, and I spoke to the minions of fate in abstractions. Time suddenly jumped me from behind and once in its steel like grip it compressed. The rest of the night is a blur of tastes, sounds, and disjointed memories. I awoke in my bed with a collection of glasses of water around me. My mind stalled and my stomach did somersaults. Smithy if I survive this hangover I'm gonna kill you or at the very least give you a swift kick in the shin.
