Last night was a rough night for me. To calm my nerves I spent over an hour sitting on my son's bedroom floor watching him sleep. Watching him helped me retrieve the peace I was looking for. It's amazing to me how a two-year-old can completely change everything and put everything into perspective. To him everything is so easy in life. He doesn't understand the concept of money and expenses. He doesn't understand consequences and disappointment. All he knows is when he wakes up in the morning, I will be there and all of our day consist of is watching Spongebob, building with legos, having milk and cookies and taking naps. He is my reason for living and my reason for breathing. He doesn't judge me by my mistakes, or how I carry myself, he doesn't judge me when I'm having a bad day, in fact he doesn't judge me at all. All he sees is his mother who loves him and that is all he needs. It's amazing, I wish life was that easy.
