I finished Wolves of the Calla today. I had started it yesterday morning. I have been reading at a somewhat ferocious pace of late. I can't wait until book 6 comes out. Thankfully, it comes out in early 2004 and book 7 will come out later in that year. In the meantime I will be rereading all of the books that are connected to the...

it wouldn't really be called responsibility if there weren't irresponsibility to counter it.

I have to write another stupid two page paper for my computer class. I am so sick of writing these tedious, bullshit things. I'm damn proud of myself though because I have actually writen all of them. In the past I probably would have just blown them off and ended up failing the class because I would have stopped going by now. But this semester...

You going to Sarah's tonight? If so when... i'm not sure what time to show up...
syh:
Ahh, yes. Smoking, turning, shifting, drinking simultaneously with manual steering. I know that feeling well. Add in braking (4-wheel manual drums) and feathering the choke, you have my everyday driving experience right there.
I'm almost finished with The Drawing of the Three. I'll start The Wastelands either tonight or tomorrow morning. I'm plowing through these more quickly than I should be, but I have always done that with his really good books. And this is no Tommyknockers....
Work was dull and tedious as per usual. I got to listen to the Michigan/Michigan St. game on the radio. I...

jeez louise! the sox didn't give me a freakin heart attack, but the pats almost did!
nice to cruise into the bye week with a 7-2 record.
about the planned punt safety, brilliant, but about 20 years ago, a team, i *think* it was the chiefs, were fined by the league for laying down on the field and allowing a touchdown to get the ball back with less than 2 minutes on the clock. do i think the intentional safety will raise eyebrows with the brass?
no, but interesting nonetheless.

Work sucked today. We were busy as all fucking hell, but we had three times the normal amount of people, so I didn't really make any more money.

I did so little yesterday. I left the house once. I went as far as the street so I could get a pack of smokes out of my car. Other than that I was pretty much just sitting on my futon and playing some Madden. I won the Super Bowl!!!
Today was work. We were slow, but it wasn't too bad.

I can imagine your job will be especially busy since Halloween is a Friday this year. I hope they're paying you extra, or at least giving you some kind of bonus!

Class sucked.
Video games before class sucked.

Yes yes... I am making an effort to waste more time on internet porn. Afterall, what's more important, BA or SG?
unravled:
ohhh, why was it fine? was it the girl at the bar?
Well, the movie night for SGKazoo got cancelled, so I had to stay home and watch the Chargers/Dolphins game
It's been such a shitty game. It is cool, however, that they let everyone in for free and accepted donations for fire aid for San Diego and have gotten about $500,000 so far.

I think I see what you're saying, although I think he means that people ought to strive toward being-for-themselves, rather than being-in-themselves... meaning that they have to accept their radical freedom and the "anguish" that comes with it, instead of assuming that they are ultimately powerless because of "God's will" or "human nature" or whatever... I'm trying to fit that in somewhere, but I'm not sure if he was really thinking of that as an "end" as such.
This has actually been quite helpful, thanks.

I grew up in Northern Cal. What part are you looking at?
So, of the seven (yes, seven
) girls that I have crushes on right now, I got to see five of them today. It was a good day. I only actually talked to two of them though.....have I mentioned what a loser I am?

Is there anything better than watching the Yankees lose a World Series?

Work was boring.....I was there for three hours or so and I got to take two deliveries. But, hey, I made enough to buy myself lunch.
After work I played a couple games of football....
Then I headed over to the bar for a drink....
Then it was off to the opera. Rigoletto fucking rocked. I love Verdi so much.

As much as I would love to see the movie with you, I still think (call me biased) California on fire might be better than Michigan approaching winter.
Happy belated birthday, as well, btw.

Great fucking game tonight. I didn't get any reading done as I was keeping too close of an eye on the drama going down on the boards.
Tomorrow I have to work in the morning. But that's ok because I get out early. And do you know why I get out early? It's so I can go to the fucking opera tomorrow night. Verdi's Rigoletto.....Verdi...

I must admit I haven't been following the series that much. Sure I'll flip to it during commercials just to see what's happening ("Marlins are up 4-1; nice"), but I won't actually watch the game.
Just no excitement for me without the Cubs or the Red Sox.

Everyone keeps talking about drama, but I haven't seen it. Come to think of it, I'm much happier this way!

[Edited on Nov 17, 2003 7:16PM]
If you gey this win you'l have to win 2 of the last three to make the playoffs.
And the Irregulators next when you start Micheal (Not Mike) Vick.
good luck
