Catpower performed last night at the troubadour and despite the wild outbursts and midsong breakdowns - I have to say I love the girl even more now. Her performance had breakdowns where she kicked the band off the stage and asked for Tequila, demanded it, and she constantly left the stage for the audience floor and roamed the club with her wireless mic. She also didn't want any bright light during the show so she only had the lights and a low blue or red tint.She sang from the balcony area, she sang near the bathrooms, she even played a tape of herself and only harmonized 3 or 4 times with it while everyone stood thinking "Is this perfomance art?" and yeah she lip-scyncnd some little girls rap song "Yo, Yo uh huh, Yo, Yo"
