Ah fuck, I didn't realize it was the Twilight Zone marathon (for 4th of July), and I've already missed half of the episodes. Poop. Public transportation is lame, although I try to take it, 60% of the time b/c of necessity, but often I want to do it just because... it exists and it's mass transport. However, I end up frustrated often.. bah. In Portland the system's better, but that's also because of less traffic & a smaller area to cover (I read somewhere that Los Angeles, in total, is like 300 sq. miles?)
Sorry fo r the price-suckiness of your mass transport. Maybe they should apply a blanket tax onto everyone and make it free, it'd encourage more borderline commuters to use it.. of course this premise is horribly flawed but still

I saw Chuck Palahniuk speak at a small gallery back in October/November. Very entertaining, I can say that I found his speech & manner more amusing than his books. Which I'm sure some people will be displeased with me for, but I've had bad experiences with his fans (i.e. dated a boy for a while who had these bizarre ideas about sex/relationships... when I wanted an explanation, he said, 'Chuck Palahniuk advocates it!' Oh dear).
