I did watch Lost Highway sober, about a year ago and I fucking hated that movie more than anything. It was total bumkum. o hate Bill Pullman something rotten as well so his presence made it even more unbearable.vLynchy boy has made a few stinkers- Dune springs readily to mind- but they are vastly outweighed by the decent and interesting films he's made- Blue Velvet was great, as was Twin Peaks (although I'm not sure that Fire Walk With Me really captured the Peaksy atmosphere of the series) and of course Mulholland Drive, which if you haven't seen I postively encourage you to, if only for the smoking hot lesbians.

I think the "end of uni lifestyle" thing is largely to blame for my woes, too. The s.o. has finished her Msc and is now rattling around looking for work, coming down from the euphoria of last-minute thesis panic and wondering about life changing stuff. Shite.....
