I got a call from an ex at two in the morning, she was crying and all that. Her and her current boy were out dumpstering for food when the cops showed up and dragged his ass to jail for outstanding warrants. She called me for comfort and also to ask to borrow just under four hundred dollars to get him out. There is a show at her house on Saturday that was supposed to be raising enough money for rent and food, but now it will be to pay back whoever lends her the money (I can't). Problem is that if she doesn't find the money the show will have problems as Mikey plays in two of the bands for that show. I felt bad that I couldn't help her (although she has used my feelings from the past against me several times before when it comes to money), but I didn't even have a way of getting down there to talk with her first hand or to bring her some extra food (at least for her dog). Always something.
