This is the first time I have worn contacts in nealry a year. It is an unusual feeling I will need to get used to again. My ex's daughter sat on my glasses and broke the left arm off, otherwise I wouldn't be wearing these. My glasses are Brooks Brothers frames (which are expensive desinger crap...they were free for me along with about two thousand dollars more in designer frames and sunglasses back when I worked at the clinic still. A single arm is tweny to fourty dollars to replace (depending on availability and if they are discontinued or not). I went to Shopko and got a four dollar replacement for the time being, but it causes the glasses to dig into my nose real bad and that causes them to be crooked and mess with my vision. I dug out the contacts and it took me a half an hour to get them in, but then it was just getting used to the feeling of something on my eye constantly all over again. I don't take them out when I sleep either, so they are clouded when I first wake up, and sometimes they are not even there when I wake up and i have to find them on the pillow, bed, or behind my eye. Right now as I type, I only have one in (the other fell out while napping for an hour and it was all dry and scary looking, so it is soaking). Quite the headache is developing.
I need to get my nose to the paper and start working on rough drafts for tattoos. I am not so good in the drawing department, but if I can get a decent rough sketch, I can pass it along to one of my tattooists or many artist friends. There are so many things I want, and so many musical designs from bands I want to incorporate. The problem with the band symbols or what not is that I just like a lot of the designs and not neccesarily the band enough to tattoo them on me and have people identify them with me. I just need to figure out a nice collage for my left leg, so it all blends togethers.
Fuck, just another to do (and procrastinate on).
Cheers, Brian Scott

I wore bright blue ones for a couple of years, and even though I knew that I didn't *have* to wear them, I still did in the hopes that people wouldn't realise that they were just contacts.
I miss how they look, but I really don't miss the getting them in, constantly getting glitter stuck underneath them, or accidentally falling asleep with them in and waking up with horrible sticky eyes.
contacts suuuuuuck! i only wear them so i can impulse-buy cheap sunglasses
