Epiphany, my ex-girlfriend's six year old daughter is in the hospital with pneumonia. A bad thing normally, but she was born very premature and weighed only one pound and a few ounces. She is tube fed and is missing parts of her intestines. She is physically unable to throw up ever. Her immune system is weak, and so pneumonia is worse for her than for a normal person. She is getting better, but only because she is hooked up to oxygen and is monitored constantly. I have had to handle her being in the hospital before, but I myself almost died of pneumonia, so I am more worried than even her mother. Stupid bad nerves.
