Yay. Packers won the fucking Superbowl! I really wish my dad were alive to see this. His last year alive they were not the impressive and he who would hard pressed to believe only a few years later they would win the Lombardi trophy back!
The other night I finally got to spend sometime with the Ladies Vinyl Monroe and Tweedle outside of the work environment. It has been far too long. Granted, we only went food shopping, it was still nice to be in such good company. We went to Whole Foods on the east side of Milwaukee (which was not there when I used to stay there dammit!), and found lots of good natural, vegetarian and vegan foods. I forced miss Vinyl to enjoy decadent pastries! She deserves them. Not that lady Tweedle doesn't, but she couldn't have them because of ingredients. She did however share with me vegan sugar free cookies that were nummy.
I am back to work finally. After four long fucking months. So of course it just in time for us to be nailed by a massive blizzard that dropped over a foot and a half of snow, brought 50 mph winds and sub zero temperatures! poor timing on my part. Now I can get back to working off some of this winter/surgery downtime fat!
