I took Allie, my current girlfriend, to go get her first tattoo today. She got one of the creatures from Where The Wild Things Are (I don't know it's name, but she does), on her lower right leg. It was done at Homeward Bound Tattoo in Port Washington by the owner (and currently only tattooist) Jesse. She did alright for her first time. At first she was a little too shaky and Jesse had to stop to emphasize the importance of her stillness. She squeezed my hand quite a bit and was visibly sweating, but she didn't cry, scream, or anything else.
It was my Christmas/brithday present to her. It cost a hundred fifty and I gave a twenty dollar tip.
I have a design being reworked by him now too, so that when I get the money, I can get my first tattoo in almost two years.
This was a crappily written entry in haste. I need to go eat now.
