Allo,
Picked up a few more books on Friday:
Interzone by William S Burroughs (HC, 1st ed)
In Cold Blood by Truman Capote
Introducing Chomsky by John Maher and Judy Groves
An American Dream by Norman Mailer
Ada by Vladimir Nabokov
Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
Myra Breckinridge by Gore Vidal
"Cat's Cradle", "God Bless You, Mr Rosewater", "Sirens Of Titan", "Player Piano", "Welcome To The Monkey House", "Jailbird (hc 1st ed)", "Fates Worse Than Death (hc 1st ed)" all by Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
That same night Jacob andI rented Ghost Ship on dvd. I was not too crazy about the movie. Not scary, it was predictable and there were plot holes a plenty. The set designs, colors, and lighting were very good however. The little girl was adorable also.
I borrowed Akira from Jacob and was finally able to see then ending after all these years of only catching bit pieces of it here and there. I was very pleased with it, a very fun movie.
My stomach is dying to be ripped out of me by way of scalpel, so I have to attend to it, maybe even talk some sense into it.
Cheers.
Noise:
Macabre Minstrels "The Cat Came BAck"
Old 97's "Murder (Or A Heart Attack)"
Atomkinder "Far Tangled Banner"
