last night was so much fun!

i started my night by having hearts burst from my eyes and my heart beating right out of my chest.

i am so incredibly in love right now.

and even though i wanted to stay here and let that feeling flow through me forever, i decided to go out anyway.

this ended up being a good decision. i saw alot of people i hadn't seen in ages. they all asked, "where have you been?" and i just told them, "i've been hiding and falling in love."

there's this band from hawthorne, california called dios malos (they used to be called dios, but they had to change their name when ronnie james dio threatened legal action, and i got to see those guys last night. i've known them for almost ten years and they're always busy touring or opening for Grandaddy or morrissey or the shins or something. but, miraculously they were all together in the same room last night and i was there too. i hung out with aaron burtch from Grandaddy for a bit too. i love that guy.

i also ran into all of the people that are mutual friends of my sister and her fiance too, and everybody was congratulating me on their engagement. i mean i hardly had anything to do with it really (apart from setting them up 4 years ago and giving miles my sister's phone number) but i guess since the happy couple wasn't there someone had to be congratulated. it was cool. everyone was so happy for them, and everyone was really drunk. and i was completely sober wishing to myself that it was october 29th.
