remj:
I randomly ran into Bridget on Saturday, at the Pumpkin Beer fest @ Elysian. She's such a nice person.
freckle:
I love the Alamo Drafthouse (South Lamar specifically, but there are others), which is a movie theater/food eating location and The Highball which is a bar/arcade/bowling place right next door.

Across the street there is a weird cart that serve magic food items made out of donuts.

Istanbul, not Constantinople? (I wonder if that song is known and/or hated there.)

I played darts at Prost in West Seattle the other night, but it wasn't as fun without your competition. There were some excellent BBQ pork sandwiches though...maybe to make up for the fact that they don't carry the Hacker-Pschorr Weisse anymore (keg prices sharply increased).
elisabeth:
I love reading about your adventures; your life is very inspiring. smile

hope you enjoy.

I'll visit the moors this summer.

That's pretty fantastic.

Along with a bit of 'Hey Jude' and 'All You Need is Love', I'm working on this these past few days and it's proved itself a touch easier than the others:

I just finished a new book, The Kingdom Beyond the Waves, by a British author - Stephen Hunt. (He writes in an interesting fantasy/steampunk world, the first one called The Court of the Air.) I liked the first book better, but they're both interesting reads.

Maybe next time you travel to Europe that has books handy, he has some books in the UK not yet released in the US...or maybe I head up to Canada...do they use the same book distribution? Hmmm.

No CHBP. I wanted to go for Saturday, but I was helping a friend and his fiancee move. Much sadness.

Wednesday evening is booked. I usually have stuff going on from 11am to about 2pm during the day, but I could meet twixt 3 and 5...
