Fucking hell I had a good night last night.
Started off after getting off of work. I had to go drop some tea off at ozumo's . My mom is their tea supplier, and since she lives in NY, I have the duty of dropping it off. I get rewarded for doing so with drinks. So I drop the tea off, and saddle up to the bar and order a martini and wait for the boy. He arrives shortly after I get my second martini. Mind you, with the new eating plan I've been on (mostly raw) I really don't have anything soaking up any of the alchohol. We all know what this means, a tipsy happy girl very quickly. So we sit down, have some amazing sushi, lot's of yummy free stuff from the chef, and some sake. After dinner we head over to our friends gallery opening. Guess what he's showcasing? Vintage video games!!! How rad is that? There were all these old arcade games, and artaris set up everywhere. I'm talking Pole Position, Donkey Kong, Astroids, Dig-Dug, Frogger, Haunted House, Galaga, Pac-Man, Pong...the list goes on. But what did they have that I could never find, and for a while was thinking that maybe it didn't exsist and I just made it up?? BLUE PRINT. It was my favorite game ever as a kid!! Nobody knew what it was though. I love it. Blue Print, Burger Time and centipede where my childhood. So much fun. So I had a Sake Peach cocktail and a glass of white wine (! can you believe that, I must be getting old if I'm starting to like wine) and then I noticed I didn't have a lot of cash anymore, so for the first time ever, I ordered a Pabst. $2 dollar beer, and damn did it taste like it. The bartender put it in a wine glass for me though. What a snob I am
Then we left, very happy and thoroughly intoxicated (but nicely) we got home and I had a fried egg sandwich made for me (not raw, I know. But I'm not on a strict diet or anything. I just felt the need to up my raw food intake, not cut out cooked foods.) had a glass of water and a few bites of ice cream and went to bed. Woke up this morning with no hangover, just a little ditzy.
If anyone get's a chance to, go and check out this gallery. It's open Th, Fri, and Sat nights and Sat during the day.
What's on the plate for tonight??
