i understand the compassion thing, my heart would go out to so many people i saw suffering, and i would empathize the suffering myself. i also am interested in the stories behind the madness, and how that person got to where they are today, i.e. the bad childhood, mental problems, abuse, etc. but now i try just to watch, without "feeling" too much, instead, just simple observation and the realization the only power i have is within the realm of myself.
