I love to sit on my balcony and read when I get some downtime from work. There's this copse of bamboo trees about ten feet back from the balcony, and the birds flourish in there, giving the air of an apiary, the trilling sounds of them.
This is the perfect time of year, too; especially here. We get very humid in this part of VA, so often in the summer its entirely too hot to enjoy being outside. But it's in the 60s today. You can't beat that.

Lets start easy peasy. I will just announce that I am STOKED that Halloween is finally almost upon us. Hard to feel it here in Florida but the mornings seem cooler than usual. Or am I just desperately hoping that they are?
