Been up in Boston from NYC now for 2+3/4 months. I must admit that I am finding myself more productive up here musically, simply because there's less static when it somes to being able to 'produce'. More gigs, more time to write and practice, not getting into brawls with muggers.
On the other hand, once you've lived for any substantial time in NYC, you become part of it. It's strange. Most places I leave and am ok with it. With NY it's like; "fuck! What am I missing!!" Luckily it's only 4 hrs. away. I can always move back I guess.
Well, my trio's coming along. It'll be really angular/modern electric guitar built on a tight and creative rhythm section. Lot's of improvising and creativity. Looking forward to taking us out.
Hope you're all well. Now if I can just find a cute SG type girlie to date..
woo hoo.
