Always on the ready, but never on the go...

In a flux of non-stop motion these past couple of weeks. Which, is good, I like busy. Kinda. I like deadlines. Sorta. Really, the more time I have on my hands the more time I tend to piss away, so it is good to be focused and on the move. Mostly.

I performed my Reverend duties for the second time last weekend in Malibu. The setting was gorgeous, the weather was nice and it may have been one of the best weddings I have ever been to. The couple was absolutely perfect together, both families were so sweet and genuinely happy to be embracing their new in-laws and the friends of the bride and groom were fantastic! No attitudes, no drama... nothing except smiles, laughter and a ton, ton, ton of dancing.

My brother is in town this week, visiting me from Leeds, England. I'm really happy to see him and that he made the effort to come all the way out to see me. You don't realize how much you have missed someone until you have them standing right in front of ya.

I'll try to post some pics and stories soon, but in the meantime I have A LOT of drinking and late nights ahead of me.
