so the giant world of theme parks is still being circumnavigated. we were both tired last night, so it was more like a 4 hour journey. however, out of curiousity we counted - and there was a total of 18 stops along the way between the two of us. i cant imagine what it must have been the day before.. is that crazy? i feel like its crazy but maybe its just what it should be and i've never experienced it before..
oh well. have a great weekend ;-)

Oh yes, I am famous for being vague. I work for a big, big phone company. I remotely test and isolate problems with "special" phone circuits (T1 lines usually but also those funky stock broker phones that, when you pick them up in LA, ring in NYC without dialing). I work with the carriers (ATT/MCI/Sprint/Qwest/etc) and outside techs. It's usually tedious but not horribly so. The money is great, the benefits are fine (they don't bat an eye at paying for me to get my English Writing degree), what I hate is the micromanagement. See the fine film "Office Space" for an accurate representation of this maddening phenomena.

i had a friend that was my best friend/roommate and i didnt talk to him for YEARS. like 8 of them. he had moved away for schoole and for some reason he invited me to his wedding ..i travelled out to visit him and we threw everything aside and it was like zero years had passed. it was great.
the funny part of the story is that we stayed in touch and recently [about 20 months after the wedding] i hired him to work for me. ;-)
of course, i moved him from texas to canada and i came down here..so we still arent hanging out. still, its good to know we're still friends and time doesnt matter.
keep it up. its nice to rekindle those friendships.
