PEPDEV PROFESSIONALISM, ETHICS AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT : 80
THCSB THEORETICAL COMPUTER SCIENCE B: COMPUTABILITY: 36
WINE WIRELESS NETWORKS: 43
The pass mark is 40 so unless the powers that be seriously bump up the THSCB marks after review (if a lot of people fail or do poorly sometimes the marks are slightly increased) then i'll have to resit the exam in summer (my mark for the exam will also be capped at 40%), either way it's not the end of the world though because look at those first two!
ok, so those were the easier units but here's the maths: If I pass THSCB either after review or resit my average for this year will be 61.4 and my average for this year and last year will be 55.8 it's not exactly great but it's not a complete disaster. Additionally there are multiple ways in which our degree classification is decided one of which takes the best marks from the 2nd and 3rd years and another which is just the 3rd year grades.
basically i just need to concentrate on getting as good grades as i possibly can from this point forwards and fingers crossed i can get the 2:1 i'm aiming for (i need to get between 60 and 70 percent overall for a 2:1)
so wish me luck. i think i'll need it.
edit: i did better than Jamie in PEPDEV despite the fact that i completed mine in 2 days and he did his in about 2 weeks. i'm not sure if this is a good or a bad thing....

Hmm... now if I remember correctly the "powers that be" is the Board of Studies. Which incidentally I just happen to be the Chairman of. That means yes, bow down and ye shall be forgiven your 4% failure.
