ha ha ha I'm a silly one....
I spend all day at work thinking about how I have to come home and be organized and get things done, and then I come home and spend hours making vagina icons and looking at new SG sets.
I did try to take pictures of Palmer earlier for her birthday, but she was hiding! normally, she is insanely photogenic. she'll come near when I get my camera out and she'll even pose. today she kept poking her head underneath blankets as if she is shy of her grey whiskers!
okay, so I'm going to be mildly frustrated here for a moment about my attempt at becoming a suicide girl:
I am looking at these other photosets and the quality is just amazing. the film we used was 200 speed, which I'm guessing was part of the problem, but I am just not adjusting to this digital age well. what's most stupid (stupiidest?) about that is that I've been doing digital photo editing for years, and I have no problem with that and at the same time, I can do film photography and I do well with that. BUT WHEN I COMBINE THE TWO, I get crap. give me raw image data, I can pump out icons, avatars, and web components galore. give me film and developer, and I can provide the most in focus, perfectly contrasted photos.
not that I took the pictures for my set, but it was my camera and I picked out the film and I really don't see how we had so few in focus and the color was crappy and I'm just cranky about it.
