It came out on Thursday (night), but theaters here have something against second-shifters and so I didn't actually get to see it until Saturday.
Let me preface my review by saying that I read Vertigo comics back when Vertigo was a gamble. Now, Vertigo has movies! I was nervous, because this is extremely out of the usual range of mainstream theater.
Oh, no. I had nothing to worry about. This film had plot, character development, dialogue, subtlety, and it was still beautiful. Visually stunning.
